✅SHIPPING & LOGISTICS POLICY – FARMORA EXPORTS

This Shipping & Logistics Policy explains how Farmora Exports (“we”, “our”, “the exporter”) processes, manages, and delivers shipments to global buyers.
By requesting a quotation or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. General Overview

Farmora Exports ships bulk quantities of:

  • Moringa Leaf Powder

  • Banana Powder

  • Beetroot Powder

  • Other fruit & vegetable powders

Shipments are coordinated using international freight partners, depending on buyer location, quantity, and required lead time.

We offer Air Freight, Sea Freight, and Courier/Express options depending on the order size.


2. Shipping Methods

A. Air Freight (Preferred for 25–500 kg)

Suitable for fast delivery of powders.
Typical transit time: 5–12 days depending on destination airport.

B. Sea Freight (Preferred for 500 kg – 5 MT+)

Used for larger commercial consignments.
Transit time: 18–45 days depending on port and route.

C. Express / Courier (Samples & Urgent Orders)

Used for:

  • Samples (1–5 kg)

  • Pilot orders (<25 kg)

Courier partners may include DHL, FedEx, UPS, or Aramex.
Transit time: 3–8 days.


3. Incoterms (Shipping Terms)

Shipping responsibilities and risk transfer depend on mutually agreed INCOTERMS.

Farmora Exports commonly offers:

EXW – Ex Works (Lowest cost)

Buyer arranges pickup and all logistics.
Risk transfers at our warehouse/processing facility.

FOB – Free on Board (Recommended)

We handle:

  • Inland transport to port

  • Export clearance

  • Loading on vessel

Buyer handles:

  • Freight

  • Insurance

  • Destination port charges

  • Customs & delivery

CIF – Cost, Insurance & Freight (Popular)

We manage:

  • Freight booking

  • Marine insurance

  • Port delivery

Buyer handles:

  • Destination port charges

  • Customs clearance

  • Last-mile delivery

INCOTERMS are confirmed in the Proforma Invoice (PI).


4. Export Documentation Provided

For every order, Farmora Exports provides essential export documentation such as:

  • Commercial Invoice

  • Packing List

  • Certificate of Analysis (COA)

  • FSSAI/Food Safety approvals (as applicable)

  • APEDA Registration (on request)

  • Export Declaration

  • MSDS (if required)

Additional documents available on request (subject to extra cost):

  • Phytosanitary Certificate

  • Health Certificate

  • Non-GMO / Allergen Statements

  • Origin Certificate

  • Laboratory Testing Reports

Document requirements vary by country.
Buyers must confirm their import regulations before placing an order.


5. Order Processing & Dispatch Timeline

A. Processing Time

Once payment is received in full:

  • Order processing: 3–7 business days

  • Custom packaging (if requested): 5–10 business days

  • Documentation preparation: 1–3 business days

B. Dispatch

Dispatch depends on:

  • Freight availability

  • Export documentation approval

  • Port schedules

  • Public holidays and customs timings

If delays occur due to external factors, we will notify the Buyer.


6. Quality Control Before Shipping

Each batch is checked for:

  • Moisture level

  • Mesh size

  • Color & purity

  • Foreign matter inspection

  • Microbial parameters (where applicable)

Buyers may request test reports (subject to availability).


7. Packaging Standards

All products are packed in export-safe, food-grade packaging:

Options include:

  • 1 kg / 5 kg / 20–25 kg pouches

  • Laminated moisture-proof bags

  • Fiber drums (subject to availability)

We ensure:

  • Tamper-proof sealing

  • Batch labeling

  • Lot number tracking

  • Export carton strength suitable for long transit


8. Customs, Duties & Import Compliance (Buyer Responsibility)

The Buyer is solely responsible for:

  • Import duties, VAT, GST, or local taxes

  • Permit requirements

  • FDA/customs registration (if required)

  • Country-specific labelling requirements

  • Clearance charges at destination port

  • Storage & demurrage fees

Farmora Exports cannot control or be liable for delays caused by foreign customs.


9. Shipping Delays & Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping line congestion

  • Customs inspection

  • Port strikes

  • Weather disruptions

  • Global logistics disruptions

  • Airline schedule changes

  • Pandemic-related restrictions

We will assist Buyers in tracking and resolving issues but cannot guarantee delivery timelines outside our control.


10. Tracking Information

Once the shipment is handed over to freight/courier provider, we will share:

  • Airway Bill (AWB)

  • Bill of Lading (BL)

  • Tracking links (for courier/air shipments)

Buyer can follow real-time status through provided links.


11. Lost or Damaged Goods

If loss/damage occurs:

For CIF shipments:

We will help initiate an insurance claim with the insurer.

For FOB/EXW shipments:

Risk transfers once goods are loaded (FOB) or picked up (EXW).
Buyer must contact their chosen carrier/insurer.


12. Sample Shipments Policy

Sample shipments (1–5 kg):

  • Are chargeable

  • Must be prepaid 100%

  • Delivered via express courier

  • Non-refundable

Sample shipments are not eligible for commercial documentation.


13. Address Accuracy

The Buyer is responsible for providing accurate:

  • Delivery address

  • Contact details

  • Port details

  • Consignee information

  • Import license info

Incorrect details may delay transit and incur additional charges.


14. Changes to This Shipping Policy

We may update this policy periodically.
The latest version will always be posted on this page.
